Chapter 20 Dinosaur Nest
Chapter 20 Dinosaur Nest
Even between people, one must always be careful.
Not to mention, Akana was a dinosaur-man.
Even though Arcana saved Cheng Shun's life, Zhang Changgong still couldn't gamble with the lives of everyone present.
Su Yang was well aware of Zhang Changgong's meaning.
He simply quoted Arcana verbatim.
"Shamanic prophecy?"
Not only Zhang Changgong was stunned, but Han Bei and the others were also taken aback.
"According to Arcana, they are currently afflicted by the Mad Dragon Virus. Their tribal shaman, through ritual, has learned that extraterrestrial beings will come to help them eradicate the Mad Dragon Virus."
Su Yang said slowly.
Even he himself was somewhat incredulous after he finished speaking.
If we say they are from outer space, then that could be considered true.
But how did they manage to eradicate the mad dragon virus?
Currently, apart from their preliminary research on the mad dragon virus, they have not found any way to eliminate it.
at this point.
This inevitably left Su Yang feeling confused.
Could it be that in the future, they will develop a reagent that can eliminate the mad dragon virus?
But wouldn't that mean that the shamans of the Akana tribe have the power to predict the future?
Putting everything else aside, this point is really absurd.
But considering that they can now travel through the portal, Su Yang couldn't completely accept it.
"You're saying that since the Akana are from a healing tribe, there might be infected dinosaurs in their camp?"
When Han Bei's voice came, Su Yang's eyes lit up immediately.
"You mean, based on future developments, we'll go to their tribe and, through those infected dinosaurs, find a way to eradicate the virus?"
"It's not impossible."
Han Bei nodded, reasoning that following Arcana's explanation might be the best answer.
However, this is merely a deduction and may not necessarily be correct.
"But, with our current equipment, can we even develop that thing?"
Cheng Shun spoke with some suspicion.
With their current research equipment, can they really develop something to eliminate the virus?
Hearing this, Han Bei smiled.
"That's true, but don't forget who's behind us. If we can't figure it out right now, does that mean that with the nation's strength, we can't figure it out at all?"
That makes sense.
Cheng Shun scratched his head; he had just experienced hallucinations, which was still making his mind a little unclear.
I always feel confused and disoriented.
Zhang Changgong, who was standing to the side, did not speak, but instead lowered his head and pondered.
After a long while, he finally looked up at Su Yang.
"What does Dr. Su think?"
Although Zhang Changgong is capable of leading everyone as a commander, Su Yang is the most suitable person for technical exploration.
"I think that with our current level of weaponry, it shouldn't be a problem."
After a moment of contemplation, Su Yang spoke.
"If what Han Bei said is true, then this is indeed a suitable opportunity for us to learn more about the dinosaur people."
Zhang Changgong nodded upon hearing this. "Understood."
"Everyone, get on the bus, we're heading to the Akana tribe."
As soon as Zhang Changgong finished speaking, everyone boarded the bus as quickly as possible.
Following the directions given by Su Yang, the off-road convoy headed towards the Akana tribe.
the other side.
The location of the Akana tribe.
Upon entering the tribe, Akana hurriedly and frantically found the Great Shaman, who was still trying to research ways to exorcise the virus.
"The Great Shaman".
Arcana's somewhat flustered voice came through, and the great shaman Arun merely glanced up at Arcana before lowering his head again.
"Why are you in such a panic?"
"I...I've encountered an outsider!"
Arcana stammered as he spoke.
From dropping the fruit to conversing with the other person, Arcana felt as if it were all a dream.
A bizarre and strange dream.
"What?!"
Upon hearing this, Allen immediately stood up and went to Arcana.
"The outsider you're talking about, is he carrying something like this?"
Allen took a scroll out of his pocket and laid it flat on the mossy table.
If Han Bei and his team were here, they would be shocked, because what was drawn on the blueprints was the very anti-sniper weapon they were carrying.
"It seems so."
Arcana recalled for a moment, then glanced at the somewhat blurry pattern on the drawing, and nodded hesitantly.
"An extraterrestrial."
Shaman Arun murmured as he looked at the blueprint placed on the table.
"Great Shaman, a group of creatures of unknown kind have arrived outside."
While Allen was still pondering.
The guard's voice came through.
"So fast?" Alan looked up in surprise, then picked up his cane inlaid with an unknown crystal and walked outside.
Outside of the dinosaur-man tribe.
Han Bei stared in shock at the biological castle that had sprung up in front of him.
It has no straight lines, no standard bricks, and no trace of human habitation. It is completely different from houses in human society.
It feels more like a symbiotic complex perfectly integrated with the terrain, composed of giant biological remains, living plants, fungal networks, and organic secretions.
The outermost layer is a natural city wall formed by some kind of vines entwining the skeleton of a giant beast.
At various points along the city wall, several dinosaur-men stood guard, weapons in hand, watching them warily.
Inside, it resembles a giant, upside-down beehive, with individual cells within it.
Even though Han Bei and the others were outside, they could still vaguely see that almost transparent biofilm.
"Is this...this the lair where the dinosaur people lived?"
Cheng Shun swallowed hard; this was completely different from the scene they had imagined.
Even Su Yang was stunned by the scene.
Buildings and ways of life that are completely different from human society are impacting people's worldviews with tremendous force.
This moment.
Their imagination of dinosaur-men was no longer based on models of human society, but rather on the real-life scenes presented to them by this tribe.
"Is this the lair where the dinosaur people lived?"
After his initial shock, Han Bei curiously examined the giant nest in front of him.
He initially thought that the houses of the dinosaur people should be similar to the houses inhabited by humans.
It wasn't made of bricks and tiles, but it wasn't like this either.
But the giant nest in front of him seemed to be mocking Han Bei's somewhat ridiculous idea.
And it was at this very moment.
Shaman Arun led Akana out of the tribe.
After a thorough inspection.
Allen's gaze finally settled on the rather inconspicuous Han Bei.
The next moment, Allen slowly walked up to Han Bei.
"Distinguished envoy, it is a pleasure to meet you here."
Zhang Changgong and the others were stunned for a moment, then their faces showed surprise.
Han Bei stared blankly at Su Yang as the dinosaur-man in front of him mumbled something unintelligible.
