Chapter 4 Killer Bees
Chapter 4 Killer Bees
Chapter Four Killer Bees
Chu Ye felt he had made a serious mistake. He recognized the species of the bees at a glance. These yellow bees were the infamous African killer bees.
When it comes to African killer bees, almost everyone knows them. These small, yellow wasps have killed countless people and animals over the past century. They are a kind of insect that strikes fear into the hearts of many.
The reason these bees are so formidable is because they live on the bloody and murderous African savanna. It is the unique environment there that has shaped these violent killer bees.
They actually evolved their attack capabilities out of necessity, a natural result of animals adapting to life in nature. The harsher the environment, the stronger the animals' survival abilities become.
"Holy crap! Killer bees! Oh my god!"
Chu Ye was completely dumbfounded. He really regretted his rash decision to venture into this thicket.
Not only did he not see the baby elephant shrew, but he also saw a large hornet's nest and these small yellow hornets.
So it immediately turned around and ran away.
But he had already disturbed the swarm of wasps, and hundreds of them immediately flew out. As soon as they saw Chu Ye, they didn't hold back and attacked him.
African killer bees are incredibly dangerous honeybees, possessing the most powerful attack capabilities of all bees. Under the queen's command, these bees launch frenzied attacks on anyone or any animal that disturbs their lives.
These honeybees can chase their prey for kilometers. They are extremely aggressive, and their venom is very potent.
Let alone ordinary small animals, even adult lions would run for their lives if they encountered these killer bees.
Perhaps only the fearless honey badger in Africa could possibly challenge these killer bees. Aside from the badger, no other animal dares to challenge them.
Chu Ye was dumbfounded. It never imagined that its attempt to catch a mouse for fun would lead to such a disaster. But it had no choice but to run away as fast as it could.
Although Chu Ye felt he was running very fast, what good was it if he ran so fast? How could two legs outrun two wings? The killer bees quickly caught up with Chu Ye and stung him several times.
Fortunately, Chu Ye reacted quickly. After being stung a few times, he scurried into a dense thicket of bushes nearby, thus temporarily escaping the killer bees' attack.
After he went inside, the killer bees seemed to lose sight of their target. So, after circling the bushes a few times, they flew back inside.
Chu Ye felt that he could no longer hear the buzzing sound outside, and then slowly emerged from the bushes.
"Am I going to die?! These bees are killer bees from Africa!"
Chu Ye was terrified. He was certain that those little yellow bees were the infamous African killer bees.
He had also heard about how killer bees in Africa could kill people and livestock. Now, this little lion had been stung by several killer bees, and he felt he was about to die.
"Damn it, I, Chu Ye, am going to be the Lion King! I'm going to be the most successful male lion in Africa, I'm going to have lots of female lion cubs, I'm going to be the emperor of lions."
"But will this dream of mine just remain a dream forever? Am I really going to die? Is this how my life is going to end?"
"Damn killer bees, I curse your ancestors for eight generations! If I die, I'll become a vengeful ghost and crush you all one by one."
"I'm so unwilling to accept this! I still have so many dreams to fulfill, I don't want to die."
Chu Ye was filled with despair, feeling that he might not survive. He was so weak, and yet he had been stung by several killer bees; how could he possibly live?
I've heard that the venom of these killer bees is a very potent cardiotoxin. If a large number of killer bees sting a person or animal, the venom can stop their heart from beating and cause them to die quickly.
Chu Ye felt like he was kicking himself. He immediately thought of a popular saying: "Curiosity killed the cat." He was now the one whose curiosity had killed the little lion.
"I shouldn't have chased that little mouse. That damned little mouse killed me." Chu Ye felt both regret and hatred for the little elephant shrew.
After a while, Chu Ye felt fine. The stings on his body were slightly painful, but otherwise, he felt nothing.
An hour later, Chu Ye was still alive and well. He had not died or been seriously injured despite being stung by several killer bees.
"Damn, I'm actually okay. Were those bees killer bees?"
Chu Ye felt that the wasps that stung him were probably not killer bees, and he had just mistaken them for killer bees.
"Wait a minute! I recognize these little bees; they're killer bees from Africa, there's no mistake!"
Chu Ye had seen a movie before called "Killer Bees of Africa." The movie featured many scenes with killer bees, and Chu Ye was confident he recognized these small bees. He felt he hadn't mistaken them; those bees he'd just seen were indeed the infamous African killer bees.
"It's really strange. How come I'm fine? Do I have some kind of immunity to these poisonous bees?" Chu Ye was very puzzled.
Thinking of this, Chu Ye stuck out his tongue and licked the spot on his body where he had been stung by the killer bees. He found the licking sensation quite magical.
It turned out that the stings were quite painful, but after he licked them, the pain immediately subsided, as if he hadn't been stung at all.
"I know, there must be something special about my body. This means that my body is different from that of an ordinary lion, and I have the ability to resist killer bees."
After much thought, Chu Ye could only come up with this explanation.
However, that's not important.
The important thing was that he knew there was a large beehive in the bushes, inhabited by a swarm of African killer bees.
"Hehe, Little Black, I have a way to deal with you. I'm going to kill you."
Suddenly, a wicked thought popped into Chu Ye's mind: he wanted to use these killer bees to get rid of Xiao Hei.
"Am I... am I really going to kill Xiao Hei?!"
Chu Ye felt a chill run down his spine when he thought about his vicious plan.
Although Chu Ye only wanted to kill a lion cub, to Chu Ye, who was also a lion cub, it felt the same as wanting to kill a human.
"It's alright! I'm fine too. It's just that these killer bees stung Xiao Hei a few times, it won't cause any major problems."
