Chapter 56 Karl's Coma, Princess Leia
Chapter 56 Karl's Coma, Princess Leia
Lance, who was resting with his eyes closed, suddenly opened them. He sensed an aura approaching through his Force.
"Someone's approaching," he sat up and looked at Ahsoka. "I'll go check it out. You guys get ready to start the ship."
"Okay, be careful." Ahsoka immediately became serious.
Lance put on his hood and left the spaceship.
A small, thin figure was seen staggering towards them.
puff.
The man seemed to be exhausted and tripped and fell to the ground.
"Could this be the Jedi we're looking for? He looks like an apprentice."
Lance did not immediately reveal himself from his hiding place. Instead, he carefully came out only after confirming that no one was nearby.
In just a few dozen seconds, he quietly ran up to the Jedi Apprentice.
"I've finally waited for you, my friend."
Carl was exhausted, panting heavily, letting the rain pound on him, but he couldn't get up.
Just then.
A gentle and steady voice sounded in my ear.
He quickly looked up and saw a tall figure standing in front of him, extending a hand towards him.
"We're saved!"
A warm feeling welled up from my heart, flowing straight up and moistening my eyes.
With all his might, Karl lifted his intact arm, but suddenly his vision blurred and he lost consciousness.
"Apprentice...apprentice..."
Lance rushed over to check on him and, after a quick examination, found that he had simply fainted due to exhaustion and emotional distress.
He crouched down, carried the Jedi apprentice who was a few years younger than him on his back, and hurried towards the spaceship.
"There are only apprentices. Where is his master? Was he arrested, or...?"
Lance ran while pondering.
Moments later, they returned to the spacecraft.
Seeing that the apprentice was only twelve or thirteen years old, Asoka quickly took the blanket and said, "His left hand is broken and needs to be treated as soon as possible."
"This is indeed a problem, the main issue being that we lack medical equipment here." Lance removed his soaking wet cloak and continued, "The question now is whether to leave immediately, or wait for him to wake up and find out what happened?"
Ahsoka was slightly taken aback. Masters and apprentices were usually inseparable and rarely separated.
But now only the apprentice has arrived, so his master's situation is not optimistic; he has either been arrested or has already sacrificed himself.
"I suggest we leave immediately; his injuries can't be left untreated."
"That makes sense. The enemy might find us by following our tracks."
Lance immediately decided to leave.
He sat in the pilot's seat and quickly started the spacecraft.
The shuttle, trailing a blue flame, quickly disappeared into the stormy clouds, passed through the atmosphere, and arrived in the starry sky.
"Retreat, the person has been found," Lance informed everyone over the communicator.
Upon hearing this, Rex and the Extraordinary Squad breathed a sigh of relief.
After setting the coordinates and activating the hyperspace engine, the shuttles suddenly disappeared from their original positions.
......
Three shuttles hovered silently in the starry sky.
"Member of Parliament Organa, I'm sorry to trouble you again."
Lance looked at the figure in the holographic communication and informed them of the situation.
"I'm happy to help. You can send the wounded to Audron Star, and I'll send you the coordinates. Coincidentally, I just received some very important intelligence that requires your assistance."
"Okay, see you later."
The holographic projection disappeared, and Lance contacted Rex and the others again.
"Lance, Ahsoka, I have to go back to base. There are still many things waiting for me there." Rex is currently an important commander in the rebel army and has many responsibilities.
The suppression chips of the Extraordinary Squad members have been removed, so there's no need to take up any more of his time.
Lance immediately expressed his gratitude: "Take care, Rex, may the Force be with you."
"Thank you, sir. I look forward to working with you on another mission. To be honest, I really miss the days of the Galactic Republic."
"Rex, you're right."
A loud voice came from the communicator:
"I also miss the feeling of smashing those stupid robots, it was so satisfying."
"Clearance King, don't you hate those lumps of iron?" the technician's voice rang out.
"You two, shut up!" The hunter rubbed his forehead, looking troubled. "Rex, take care."
Take care, everyone.
Rex ended the call, set the coordinates, and jumped into hyperspace.
"Let's go too, to Alderaan."
Lance and Ahsoka had been there many times and knew the place very well.
Odran is a beautiful turquoise planet. The development of the city has not only not damaged the ecology, but has also blended into the forest.
This architectural style and concept has led to Oderang being hailed as one of the most habitable planets.
Although it is located in the core region, within the M-10 square on a standard map of the Milky Way, the fact that Congressman Organa invited them there must have been a cover-up.
Lance set the coordinates and started the hyperspace engine.
With the automatic cruise control activated, Lance entered the cabin.
"How is he doing?"
"The situation is not good; he has developed a high fever."
Ahsoka took the warm towel, put it in cold water to cool it down, wrung it out, and applied it to Karl's forehead.
"Sigh, I wonder how many other comrades like him there are. Moreover, we need to have our own starships, supplies, and matching logistics as soon as possible, so we can't keep troubling Senator Organa."
Lance sat to the side: "If we had a medical team and equipment, we could solve this problem very quickly."
"Take your time, everything will come eventually."
Ahsoka reached out and gently placed her hand on his shoulder.
......
After more than ten hours of hyperspace travel, the spacecraft finally arrived at Oderang.
They were not questioned by the patrol team along the way, passed through the air raid shelter smoothly, and landed in a dense forest.
Member of Parliament Organa, dressed in a simple yet luxurious suit, was already waiting there.
A beautiful woman stood beside him, holding a baby in her arms, with two bodyguards behind her.
The hatch opened.
Lance and Ahsoka came down.
"Welcome to Audran, my friends."
Organa stepped forward and greeted the two warmly.
"Thank you for your hospitality, Member of Parliament."
"How is the injured person?"
"He needs to be treated as soon as possible."
"Don't worry, I've arranged everything."
After saying that, Organa waved his hand.
Two guards obeyed the order, pushed the hovering stretcher into the spaceship, and carried the still unconscious Karl down.
"Send the patient to the 'base' medical room for the best possible treatment."
"Yes, Your Excellency."
Lance watched their figures disappear into the woods, then looked at Councilor Organa with some confusion.
Organa nodded slightly and explained, "We are standing on a secret base, built by my grandfather for emergencies."
He paused for a moment, then excitedly began to explain:
"This is my wife, Breha Organa, whom you have met before."
Lance and Asoka quickly bowed.
Braeha smiled and said, "No need for formalities."
Ahsoka looked curiously at the baby in her arms and couldn't help but ask, "So cute, what's her name?"
Leia Organa.
